Rain is very common here and showers can pop up anytime and stop just as quickly. You do not have to come back unless there is lighting, just wait out the rain.
Refunds are only given if equipment has not been used. If you have left the dock on your rental NO refunds or rain checks will be granted outside of your reservation time. For Jet Skis, If you don’t use all your time, you can use the remaining time at another time. Have an attendant mark off the time used.

The dolphins in our area are in their natural habitat and can be seen on any of our cruises. We see dolphins about 99% of the time. If we do not find dolphins you can come back another time at no cost.

This depends on the tides which change daily. High tide is when the water is the most clear (void from any bad weather). A quick Google search for ‘Destin, Florida Tide Charts’ should help you see the tide schedule for the day.
DRIVING RULES
- You must be at least 18 years of age to operate a regular pontoon or waverunner.
- You must be at least 18 years of age with previous boaters experience to drive a double decker pontoon.
- Drivers born on or after January 1st, 1988 must provide a valid boating license and ID.
- Drivers born before January 1st, 1988 must provide a valid ID, must include photo and birthdate.
- Drivers must be able to fluently read and speak English per Florida law, violators will be subject to a fine if pulled over by FWC.
- DRIVERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER THE GULF UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, VIOLATORS ARE SUBJECT TO A $500 FINE UPON ARRIVAL TO THE DOCKS AND A $1500 IF WE HAVE TO RESCUE YOU OR VESSEL IN THE GULF.

Regular pontoons hold twelve people, double deckers hold fourteen, this includes all babies and young children. Coast Guard says “Number of Heartbeats”

Yes, lifejackets can be found on the pontoons. Any child under six years old must have a life jacket on while the water vessel is in motion.

Yes, we require a $50 pet fee, non negotiable on our pontoons.

Yes, we require a $50 fishing fee, non negotiable on the pontoons, you must purchase or obtain a valid fishing license in order to fish off of the pontoons which can be purchased at the Harborwalk Marina or online https://myfwc.com/license/recreational/saltwater-fishing/.

We have a list of local skippers in our area that we can send upon request AFTER a reservation has been made. * Skippers are paid by the charterer, the charterer is responsible for selecting and hiring their own skipper. The drivers on our list are qualified to operate the boat that you have rented.

Glass, grills, and tubing are all prohibited.

No additional deposit is required, but you are responsible for any damage done to the boat payable upon return unless you have damage protection. Damage protection is $75, this covers up to $2000 in accidental damage.

Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to reservation time if trip protection was not purchased. If trip protection is purchased, rescheduling or cancellation is allowed up until reservation time.

Highly recommended, we cannot ensure that you will have a pontoon boat unless you have made a reservation.

Pontoons do not have coolers, we recommend bringing your own cooler. If you forget your cooler or need an extra one, we do sell Loboy 47qt two compartments coolers and 22qt coolers with a handle.
The boats do have bluetooth speakers, however if you have your own speaker, we recommend bringing it. Boats and saltwater are very hard on equipment and we can not guarantee the speakers will always work.

Passengers must be at least six years of age and must stay behind the driver at all times when riding on the waverunners.

Yes, lifejackets will be given prior to departure and must be worn at all times while on the jet ski.

Yes, a $250 deposit must be made in cash or held on card per jet ski, cash deposit will be given back after return granted there is no damage, and card deposits can take up to 24 hours to release the hold, depending on your bank institution.

Max weight limit cannot exceed 400 lbs per jet skis can hold up to two adults and one child.

There is a shoebox size glove compartment that is waterproof in front of your seat that can hold a phone, keys, wallet, etc. There is a larger compartment in the very front that is not waterproof, but can hold towels, shoes, etc. At the dock, there is a small container with a number that corresponds with your ski number to leave items behind. DOCKHANDS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PERSONAL ITEMS, LEAVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS IN YOUR CAR OR AT HOME.

HAPPYS FAQS: CRAB ISLAND/ DOLPHIN TOURS

The boat works as a taxi system, the captain and first mate will take you to and from crab island, where you will be able to get on and off the boat as much as you would like, with a canopy that covers most of the boat. Time permitting, you may also go see some dolphin and/or do a harbor tour.

Crab island is not an actual island, it is now a sandbar that ranges anywhere typically from calf to chest deep in the bay where boats and vendors are able to congregate.

Sunscreen, towels, snacks, floats, and coolers are all allowed. NO GLASS and THERE IS NO ALCOHOL AVAILABLE FOR SALE OUT AT CRAB ISLAND, bring your own alcohol. The captain and first mate also sell water, soft drinks, and chips on the boat. They also have community floats on board, but you are encouraged to bring your own as they are limited. We have an air pump on board as well. Again, please keep in mind that glass is prohibited for safety reasons.

The boat is coast guard certified for 49 passengers, however we limit it to 40 passengers to give customers some room.

No, please keep in mind this is a group tour boat that has a capacity of 40 people. You can rent the whole boat for private trips. Just give us a call to discuss.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Please cancel 48 hours prior to the Pontoon rental start time for a full refund. If the trip is canceled by Happy’s Crab Island Watersports you will be issued a full refund minus the ticket fee if booked online.
Once you leave the docks there are no refunds or rain checks so please make sure the weather will be good for the duration of your trip. If a storm comes through while you are out we ask if it is lightning to return back to the docks for your safety. If it is a light rain you can stay out. Once the storm blows through you can take your go back out but we will not extend your time while you are at the docks.
You can purchase trip protection and you will be able to cancel or reschedule all the way up to your reservation time.
